Message Unless you have flow tested this fog duct design I doubt you could calculate what will do what with changing that venturi shape.

Common sense tells me that a larger opening period would provide more airflow. Functionally your duct(and shimas) already block enough airspace. So functionally you would not need your fog duct at all. All you need is a hose to direct the air to where ever you want it to go. you could remove the fiberglass behind the fog duct hole,
and use something like this for fabbing ducting to the brakes.

my point is:
You should make these As aestheticly pleasing as possible and sell them as a cosmetic enhancement and not as a functional cooling device, because... they arent functional.
